Mud, as parents often the joy of playing with mud has long gone and letting our little ones get covered in mud for us to then clean up is not our idea of fun!

However, the joy and benefits children get from playing in messy play as a whole are huge and include:

  1. Physical development

  2. Language development

  3. Creative development

  4. Emotional development

  5. Social development

  6. Mathematical development

At Rosetta we encourage messy play to help with all the above areas and mud is often the favourite messy resource.

So, next time your little one wants to play in the mud why not join them. After all that's what washing machines are for!!
